Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ChurchCompass.org, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create a visitor account, and authorized to act on behalf of the church if you create a church account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing.
• Do not use the platform to send spam, harass other users, or impersonate another person or organization.
• Do not attempt to access accounts that are not yours, scrape the service at a rate that disrupts it, or probe for vulnerabilities without our written consent.
• Churches who send notifications must comply with applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR) and may only send messages to visitors who have opted in.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and deliver that content for the purpose of operating the service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

ChurchCompass is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChurchCompass is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
